The Deacon Servant website serves as my digital hub to connect with our community and anyone wanting to deepen or learn more about their Journey of Faith.

A Digital Mission Field

The Deacon Servant Website leverages technology to evangelize and connect with hundreds—if not thousands—of people at any time: 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Through this digital presence, anyone, anywhere, can learn more about their faith and becoming a disciple of Jesus leading to a journey of faith, hope, and love.

The Need for Digital Evangelism

Digital media has fundamentally changed how people communicate, engage with content, and build communities. Younger generations are often drawn to interactive, visually engaging experiences rather than traditional homilies and preaching. As a Deacon, I recognize this shift and want to respond with wisdom, creativity, and purpose.

Opportunities for Global Reach

As we look to the future, the opportunities for digital evangelism extend far beyond what we can currently imagine. Change is constant, and the Church and Deacons have an opportunity to embrace this digital mission field with innovation and purpose.

The digital age makes it possible to share the gospel in ways that were once impossible. No longer limited by geography, language barriers, or restricted access, the message of faith can reach people in every corner of the world.

With so many people online today, digital evangelism offers powerful ways to:

  • Reach people wherever they are.
  • Encourage spiritual growth and discipleship.
  • Build meaningful connections and faith communities.
  • Share the message of Jesus through The Deacon Servant.

So, in the words of St Francis of Assisi — “Preach the gospel at all times. Use words if necessary”. In this case use technology!
